To be an EDGE Competition Dancer you must Try-outs. Those who show enthusiasm for what they do, comprehension of basic dance skills, a willingness to learn, teachability, and work ethic will be chosen for our company. Company dancers are expected to be in class every week & weekend practices called through out the year. We attend 4-5 Events each season and company members are required to attend all of them. As an EDGE competition dancer you will work extremely hard, become a part of a supportive & loving dance family, and have a TON of fun!!

In addition to their competition rehearsal classes,

Competition Company Dancers are required to take:

(1) Ballet class,

(1) Technique Class

(1) Acro Technique Class if competition in an acro group

Hip Hop only dancers must take technique

Tap or Clogging only dancers must take the corresponding recreational tech class

EXTRA COSTS:

In addition to monthly tuition, Competition Company Students are responsible for competition entry fees & purchasing a Competition Company warmup jacket & pants. Exact Costs are outlined in our try-out form.

Competition fees are broken up into monthly payments

**We hold 3-5 optional Fundraisers per season to help offset the added cost.**
